Thank you for downloading our unofficial take of the Disney theme parks. On this weeks show, we have two fun but informative features for you. We begin by answering a further set of questions from listener Shannon about how to fit in Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party. Then, her second question, looks at whether the horror stories she has heard about long commute times between parks are indeed accurate. Finally, we move on to our main feature. We share the research we did about two influential women, who worked alongside Walt Disney, that created some of the treasured elements of the Disney theme parks and films. Firstly, we look at Dorothea Holt Redmond and then Mary Blair. To help us with a fuller understanding of the women in Walt's life, we are also joined by Disney historian and author - Jim Korkis. We hope you enjoy this podcast just as much as we did when researching and recording it.
